The name Khiva is derived from the ancient city of Khiva in Uzbekistan where the excited traders, missionaries and pilgrims travelling and passing through the city, would exclaim "Khey vakh!” meaning ‘What a Pleasure!’ upon drinking the excellent water.


The outlet has an abundance of local art, traditional ceramics and vibrant colors which makes it a lively and casual place for dining. The main highlight of this space is the char grilled oven, Kazan, Tandir as well as fresh noodle dogma making station. It will offer freshly baked bread as kulchatoyar or tandir-non from the clay oven, authentic local dishes like, shurva, manti, churchvara, dimlama, kebabs, lagman and varieties of plovs. There will be a selection of fresh fish and cuts of meat from the charcoal grill, whole roasted chicken from the wood fired oven, tandoor dishes from the clay oven, spit roasted lamb, steamed or pan fried dishes prepared to perfection. Desserts are hearty and seasonal. Freshly baked biscuits, fresh fruit and traditional Uzbek and central Asian sweets will be available to satiate your taste buds.


Breakfast will feature local favorites including homemade preserves and cheese. Special attention will be given to the beverage selections, especially the green tea varieties and service of freshly brewed coffees, freshly squeezed juices and soft drinks.
